Acupuncture & Cupping tomorrow...
I just saw this on the "Events" tab.. I think I may go to this, I have wanted to try acupuncture for my back and feet.
Anyone else attending?

@Strofan : It sounds interesting. I had a friend who did cupping and she was all bruised afterwards. She never did say if it made a difference. My daughter does acupuncture and it really has made a difference in her health.

Cupping sounds weird to me and you have the red circles afterward? I heard it works though.

@Strofan : Sounds very affordable, I would have thought much more expensive. If I was not working I might give it a whirl.

My daughters severe neck pain goes immediately after cupping and acupuncture,my family has used Dr Boyang in Spring for over 20 years,he was a neurosurgeon in China before coming to the USA...he helped my mums back pain.

There are only two ways to make your pain go away:
1. Numb you so you don't feel anything anymore;
2. Introduce pain to other parts of your body to make you forget where it hurts to start with. Emoticon
Both acupuncture and cupping fall into the second category.

@RedPanda :

Acupuncture has never worked for me, but I didn't go for pain..I would still try it again if I had something new pop up... however I have seen it work and take all the pain away from my two family members , when all else failed...

In CA I went to the mall for a massge and they ended up doing cupping. I didn't even know what they were doing. I felt a slight pinch once in a while. I think I fell asleep. Imagine the shock of my family when they first noticed my back! I had the circles for a few weeks!

@RedPanda : Interesting how it made the foot pain go away. I think there's a lot of studying that needs to be done.
