Well, there are already two strains of Covid-2019 out there now: the vaccine is for which one? I bet right when they have vaccine for one, there will be twenty strains out there... The same reason why you still catch flu after flu shot...
@RedPanda : Lol responds.... Takes 2 to 3 weeks for the flu shot to kick in. Unfortunately. We don't know how this is going to shake out! I hope we all stay healthy and safe!
Higher and higher percentage of people in this country get flu shots every year. At the same time, higher and higher percentage of people in this country get flu and die every year. I know it's just a coincidence.
Question: We know about the dangers of overuse of antibiotics (ie. breeding superbugs), therefore a pertinent question is do vaccines also enact similar selection pressures on viruses? That is to say, by depriving viruses of viable host, does that not increases the pressure for successful mutations to emerge?
Good question... I feel it does increase successful mutations to emerge...it's done it with antibiotics it will do similar with vaccines... We need to get rid of the problems, where are these viruses are coming from, we know it's from the appalling treatment of animals in the Chinese markets and elsewhere in the world.. if this is not going to stop ,we have to expect more of these viruses to emerge.. nature has an intelligence and it's time to listen!
