
Opened in 1974, the
Village of Grogan's Mill, named after the Grogan Lumber Mill and family, is the first and oldest village located in the front of The Woodlands. It borders
The Woodlands Town Center, right off I-45.
Grogan's Mill has over 5,100 homes and 13,412 people and includes nearby schools Hailey and Lamar Elementary (K-4 grades), Wilkerson Intermediate (5 & 6 grades), and Knox Junior High (7 & 8 grades.)
The
Grogan's Mill Village Association (GMVA) meets the third Monday of every month, except December at the Community Associations Building of The Woodlands. All residents are welcome to attend. The GMVA also has an annual planning meeting held in March.
